Yorkie Lovefest.........

Hi! My name is Toby. I am a Yorkshire Terrier, or "terror", as my mom would say. My mom thinks I'm special, so she wanted me to keep a diary so everyone can know how wonderful I am. My mom never had a Yorkie before. She sort of got me by accident, but she is sure glad that she did! I'm 8 months old now, but this picture is when I was little. I'm big now. I weigh 4 pounds. I know that doesn't seem like much, but I am all muscle! I have a sister, too, she's a miniature Dachshund and her name is Muffin. She's very old, she's 12. I like to play with her, but she's awful grumpy. Mom says you get like that when you're old.

This is my sister, Muffin. My mom has had her for 12 years. She thinks the house belongs to her, but I know she's wrong. She likes to steal my food. Mom has to sit by me when we eat so Muffin doesn't take all the food. Mom says Muffin is getting fat since I came along. I decided that I will let mom keep her. She'll just have to learn who's really in charge around here....

This is me and Muffin playing. She has enough energy to play like this about once a week! I'm bigger now, and I could always win, but she's old, and I let her win. Mom says we should let her think she's boss. I think that's funny! I lay on my back and let her bite me, then I kiss her face as much as I can. I don't like when she gets in my mom's lap. That's where I belong!

This is me and Muffin with SANTA! Mom said he came all the way here from the North Pole to see us. Wow! We had a great Christmas and Santa brought us many presents. But, mom gave me some knee high hose with knots tied in them and a small aspirin bottle with some beans in it, and I like those better than anything. She also gave me an empty 2-liter coke bottle and I drag it around all over the place. The other toys are okay, too, but the best things are the things I steal from mom's purse. I got a bunch of these long green paper things out of her purse and played and played with them while she was sleeping. That was fun!
